Bill entered the insurance business with his father after graduating from Hobart College. A native of Erie, he has received the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation and holds a Graduate Degree Certificate in Financial Counseling.

He is a member of the National, Pennsylvania, and Erie Associations of Insurance and Financial Advisors and a life member of the Million Dollar Round Table. He is also a member of the Society of Financial Service Professionals.

Bill is past President of the Estate Planning Council of Erie, Northwestern Pennsylvania Society of Financial Service Professionals and of the Erie Rotary. He has served on the Boards of Hamot Hospital, Erie Cemetery, and the YMCA.

JAMES N. MCKIBBEN

Jim received his B.A. from the University of Colorado, and subsequently achieved the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation. He holds Graduate Degree Certificates in Advanced Estate Planning and in Advanced Pension Planning.

Jim is a member of the National Association of Life Underwriters and qualifying member of the Million Dollar Round Table. He is also a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, the Society of Financial Service Professionals, and the Erie Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors.

He is past president of the Northwestern Pennsylvania Estate Planning Council, the Northwestern Pennsylvania Society of CLU, the Eric Arts Council, and the Erie Summer Festival of the Arts. He is currently a corporator of Hamot Hospital and the Board chair of the Sarah A Reed Children's Center.

John joined Lillis, McKibben & Co. in September of 1987 and was made a partner in 2006. John obtained his B.A. in Economics from Allegheny College in 1987. He received his Chartered Life Underwriters (CLU) designation in 1998 and his Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designation in 2002.

John is a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors and current President of the Erie Society of Financial Service Professionals and member of the Erie Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors. He is a member of the estate Planning Council of Erie and a qualifying member of the Million Dollar Round Table.

John is the Co-Chairman for the Young Leaders Club of the United Way and serves on the Board of ExpERIEnce Children’s Museum.

John holds B.S. degrees in both Business Economics and Management, a Graduate Certificate in Management, and his MBA from Penn State Erie. An Erie native, he joined Lillis, McKibben as an Account Manager in April of 2002, after representing area managed care plans for over five years. John has also worked in the Erie area as an Account Executive and Independent Agent.

John is a member of the Human Resources Management Association for Northwestern Pennsylvania.

Luba received her B.A. in Economics/Business from Edinboro University, and joined Lillis, McKibben in 1994 after representing an area Third Party Administrator in sales and service for many years.

Her broad background in medical benefits and managed care arrangements gives her the technical depth to provide support for large group cases. Luba excels at tailoring plan designs for self-insured cases, contract negotiation, and analysis of claims experience.

Luba is a member of the Human Resources Management Association for Northwestern Pennsylvania.

CHERYL A. THOMAS

Cheryl received her B.S. in education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and has taught at the middle and high school levels. She later worked as a corporate buyer in the retail industry, where she focused on vendor contract negotiations and on developing management information reports.

Cheryl joined Lillis, McKibben in 1995, where she manages a significant portion of the firm's small group business. Her skills in creative problem resolution and communications lend themselves well to working with a wide range of clients from professional firms to small manufacturing companies.
